Jeff Nicklus Desperado Motorcycles manufactures custom designed and individually hand built American V-Twin High Performance Motorcycles. Currently we manufacture four (4) different motorcycle models that are designed to fit any lifestyle or budget.
Each Desperado Motorcycle is designed, engineered and built strictly as a top of the line, world class motorcycle. Only the finest materials and parts are incorporated into a Desperado motorcycle. Every component part of a Desperado Motorcycle has been tested and re-tested to insure that each part meets or exceeds our strict specifications prior to being approved and released for incorporation into our production process. The end result is a motorcycle that has no equal either in quality, performance or value.
All Desperado Motorcycles are individually serial numbered with a Federally Registered seventeen (17) digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and issued an original MSO ( Manufacturers Statement of Origin ) for title and registration purposes. All Desperado Motorcycles are titled as a "Desperado Motorcycle" and not some "assembled" or "custom built from parts" title.
Desperado Motorcycles, as a nationally recognized brand name, is listed in both the Kelley Blue Book and the N.A.D.A. Guide, thereby making a Desperado Motorcycle easy to register, finance and to insure.
At Desperado Motorcycles we have tossed the idea of a production line away and replaced it with individual assembly stations. Each assembly station is complete and independently equipped right down to it's own computer terminal. One man builds one bike at Desperado Motorcycles. At any given time we only produce a maximum of five (5) to eight (8) motorcycles per week. At Desperado Motorcycles we purposely limit our production to 300 motorcycles per model year. Could we produce 40-50 bikes per week with a production assembly line like our competitors, in lieu of our individual hand built assembly stations? Absolutely ! Are we willing to sacrifice our quality and individual contact with our customers? NEVER !
Our goal, at Desperado, is not to be known as the number 1 or number 10 "largest" motorcycle manufacturer in the United States. We will let the other motorcycle companies fight over that distinction. At Desperado, our goal is much more lofty, we strive to be recognized as the manufacturer of the
